Historic Building Recording
Where Historic Building Recording is required we abide by the four levels advocated by Historic England. The reason for a report might be due to a requirement of planning application.

At Hubbard Conservation we have a wide scope of experience to cover the built environment in which we live. We have worked successfully on large and small private commercial sites, public building, large and small domestic dwellings with curtilage and also a comprehensive portfolio of farmsteads and barns.
Our assessments are not confined just to Listed Buildings but cover all aspects of Heritage Assets including Conservation Areas, subject to Article 4 Direction.
We cover our local area of Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds but also, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. Although, by request, we work further afield in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Derbyshire and Bedfordshire, if you are outside these areas please do feel free to discuss it with us.

Victoria has worked on two quite sensitive projects on our behalf which required applying for retrospective planning permission on a grade 2 listed property. For both applications she wrote compelling narrative which resulted in positive outcomes. Had the applications been turned down the financial consequences would have been expensive.
Mr Cooper, Warwickshire
Victoria was a delight to deal with. She made a potentially difficult planning situation smooth and easy with a smart and in-depth review of the history of our home which unlocked a compelling argument in favour of the changes we wished to make.

I was recommended Hubbard Conservation to carry out a detailed Heritage report on my Grade 2 listed building which is also in a conservation area to support a planning application. I have to say I was very satisfied with all the aspects of the works carried out by Hubbard Conservation.
