Heritage Impact Assessments
Since 2010 it has been a requirement for any planning application which will, or is likely to, affect a heritage asset or its setting, to be accompanied by a Heritage Impact Assessment.
Historic Building Recording
Where Historic Building Recording is required we abide by the four levels advocated by Historic England. The reason for a report might be due to a requirement of planning application.
Statements of Significance
At pre-application stage, local authorities (LA) will often require a Heritage Assessment or a Statement of Significance. The point of pre-application advice is to seek guidance from the LA.

How historic buildings are constructed and behave can be a vital part of any type of adaption, renovation or repair work. Historic fabric and materials behave, and are affected differently.

Our assessments are not confined just to Listed Buildings but cover all aspects of Heritage Assets including Conservation Areas, subject to Article 4 Direction.
We cover our local area of Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds but also, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.
