Historic Buildings Recording

Where Historic Building Recording is required Hubbard Conservation abide by the four levels advocated by Historic England. The rationale for such a report might be due to a requirement as part of a planning application. Hubbard Conservation will also conduct such a report for intrigued owners of heritage assets who would like to know more about the building’s chronology and historic context.

The recording level will be dictated by either the local authority, the client’s requirements, or due to the complexity or historic significance of the property in question.

This sketch shows the chronology (or development) of a set of barns.
